In die Saison starteten die Leutzscher erfolgreich.  Zur Winterpause war unsere Zweite beste Mannschaft in der Bezirksliga. Doch in der Rückrunde brache Sie dann etwas ein. Letztendlich wurde der vierte Platz belegt. Im Pokal konnte man ins Finale einziehen. Dramatisch war das Halbfinale. Nach der Verlängerung stand es beim 1. FC Lok II 1:1. So musste das Elfmeterschießen über das weiterkommen entscheiden. Die Leutzscher gewannen es mit 7:6. Das Finale gewann dann Stahl Nordwest in Großsteinberg vor 650 Zuschauern mit 2:4.
